St George’s School, Dunstable

A very warm welcome to St. George’s School. We are a small independent school educating and caring for children from Reception age to Year 6. Our attached nursery Little Steps cares for children from birth.

We are a warm, caring and vibrant community where we can really say that ‘every child matters’. Pupils feel valued and hence value each other. They are praised and encouraged, and thus develop a pride in their work, their attitudes and their behaviour. We develop a unique education for each child, which is enhanced by exciting and stimulating activities both on and off-site.

Our curriculum is broad, whilst maintaining an emphasis on solid foundations in numeracy and literacy. With a strong, well planned curriculum, delivered by dedicated and motivated teaching staff, pupils aim high and gain remarkable achievements.

Much emphasis is put on positive moral behaviour and pupils learn through example to respect and value each other and those in the wider community.

To gain a sense of pride, self-esteem and confidence in these vital early years, gives children the positive values that will put them in good stead for the rest of their lives.

To really understand our school, please call and arrange to visit us. You will receive a very warm welcome and we will aim to answer all your questions.
