The week of the 9th February was Science Week and a member of the Sublime Science team came to school to talk to the children and to do some “cool” experiments.
The Reception and Year One class enjoyed learning about sound, air and electricity. Filling the bubbles with smoke and seeing them come out of the special machine was a particular favourite.
In the playground Year Two to Year Six had fun learning how to make a rocket fly extremely high into the air. Unfortunately they did lose a few during their investigations!
All children also got to make some “Goo” out of glue and a secret ingredient which they thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone had a good time and the children were very excited to have met a real scientist.
