We continue to sponsor the Children’s Centre in Lesotho, South Africa. For many years we have been sponsoring one child through her education, Refiloe Augustina Nkholise (she tells us to call her Tina.) In November John Rhodes, grandfather of India, Millie and Daya, came into school to give us an update on how things were doing at the Children’s Centre. He goes out to help with building work every few months and has often talked in our assemblies about how the money raised helps. He had many pictures to show and told us how “Tina” was progressing in her school life. It was lovely to hear how the sponsorship money had helped her and the talk from John really enabled the children to gain an understanding of how their lives were so different.

We raised over £100 on the non-uniform day and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support for this very worthwhile charity.
