  1. Sports for Schools

We are very excited to be welcoming GB Paralympic Footballer Alistair Patrick-Heselton to the school on Tuesday 20th October. Alistair has played in the Paralympic World Championships and the Paralympic World Cup as well as scoring against Argentina in the 2012 London Paralympics. Alistair is currently in training and has his sights firmly set on Rio 2016.

Alistair will be leading a sponsored fitness circuit with the children followed by a talk and question and answer session. The aim of the event is to inspire the children to take up sport but just as importantly to encourage them to discover and then pursue their passion in life.

The money raised from the event will be used to buy sports equipment for the school with an amount also going towards supporting GB athletes (including Paralympic athletes.)

Everyone at school is very much looking forward to participating in this terrific and memorable event.

  2. Harvest Festival

This year’s Harvest Festival was held on the 5th October at the Priory Church and it was lovely to have so many parents join us for the service. The children presented a dramatization and some poems to show the meaning of Harvest and the Reverend Andrews told a story to show the importance of sharing.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their generous donations of food which was given to the Signpost charity in Dunstable.
