Our latest Osted Inspection was carried out in January 2011.  Below are some of the comments within the report.

Quality of Education

Pupils made good progress in the lessons …..because of their enjoyment of the interesting and fun activities planned for them. ……Pupils say the ‘teachers make sure we understand the work and make the work interest’ and that ‘because it’s fun you learn more.

Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the pupils

There is outstanding provision for pupil’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, which results in outstanding outcomes for all pupils. ……Pupils work and play together exceptionally well and their behaviour is excellent in lessons and on the playground……Pupils greatly enjoy school and have very positive attitudes to learning.

Safeguarding pupils’ welfare, health and safety

Safeguarding processes and procedures are extremely robust and fully in place.

Effectiveness of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Children behave very well and display good attitudes towards learning.   They are polite and courteous to visitors.  Relationships are warm and respectful and this contributes very well to children’s personal development and well being.

One parent commented: ‘This is a fantastic place because every family is equally welcome and supported’.
